Gas Chromatography/Mass Spectrometry (GC/MS) is the preferred confirmatory method for positive results.

 How long do drugs remain detectable in urine?

Detection windows vary by drug (e.g., marijuana: 3-10 days, cocaine: 24-48 hours, opiates: 2-3 days).

 What does a faint test line mean for drug detection?

Any visible test line (regardless of intensity) indicates a negative result, as intensity does not correlate with drug concentration.

Can the adulterant tests detect diluted urine?

Yes – abnormal specific gravity (below 1.003) or low creatinine levels indicate potential specimen dilution.

What should I do if the control line does not appear?
